What the plugin looks like

What it does
Brutal death metal drums made for blast beats. A dry, clicky, very tight kick and snare with short decay, so 250 BPM stays readable instead of turning into soup [CHECK BY EAR OR CUT THE 250 BPM LINE]. Turn GRIND for hard saturation and upper-mid presence. That's the grinder. No trigger setup, no transient shaping, no ten-plugin snare chain. Load it, program the blasts, done. Brutal death, grind, slam-adjacent, anything fast and ugly. A mixer and Tune knob are there if you need them.
Features
- GRIND knob: hard saturation and presence.
- Kit variants Natural and Raw [CONFIRM VARIANT NAMES], plus 5 presets (Default, Raw / dry, Tight, Roomy, Big and loud).
- Tune knob (kick/snare/toms ±3 semitones) and six faders: Kick, Snare, Toms, Cymbals, Room, Master.
- MIDI map menu: GM, merge 35>36 and 40>38, pedal hat plays closed, toms flipped for pad layouts.
- VST3 + standalone for Windows. Groove player for your own MIDI files. Credits inside the plugin.
A version of Meatgrinder is one of the 4 kits inside the free practice plugin, Backing Track Plus.
