What the plugin looks like

What it does
Late-80s thrash drums for fast palm-muted riffs. A tight, clicky kick that cuts through rhythm guitars, a bright snare, short punchy toms and sharp cymbals. Turn BITE and it pushes the upper-mid attack, scoops out the low-mid mud and adds grit. You don't have to touch an EQ. Load it, program the double kick, done. Thrash, speed metal, crossover. If you want to fiddle, there's a mixer and a Tune knob, but nobody's making you.
Features
- BITE knob: upper-mid bite, scooped mud, grit.
- Kit variants Natural and Raw [CONFIRM VARIANT NAMES], plus 5 presets (Default, Raw / dry, Tight, Roomy, Big and loud).
- Tune knob (kick/snare/toms ±3 semitones) and six faders: Kick, Snare, Toms, Cymbals, Room, Master.
- MIDI map menu: GM, merge 35>36 and 40>38, pedal hat plays closed, toms flipped for pad layouts.
- VST3 + standalone for Windows. Groove player for your own MIDI files. Credits inside the plugin.
A version of Razorback is one of the 4 kits inside the free practice plugin, Backing Track Plus.
